What is Aident Loadout?
Aident Loadout is a service that connects the AI assistants developers use most, such as Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, Cursor, ChatGPT and OpenClaw, to work apps: email, calendars, CRMs, developer tools and more than 1,000 services with over 27,000 available actions. It is built by Aident, a US company registered in Delaware, active since 2023 and also behind the open source project open-cuak.
Normally each assistant has to be connected to each app separately, one MCP server at a time, with keys and passwords scattered across config files. Loadout does the opposite: you connect your accounts once and reuse the same "loadout" of apps and Skills across all your assistants, with credentials kept in a central Vault instead of inside each client.
Main Features
- One setup for many assistants: Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, ChatGPT and other MCP clients share the same connections
- Catalog of 1,000+ apps: over 27,000 ready-made actions across work and developer services
- 400+ Skills: ready-made procedures the assistant can call for common tasks
- Credential Vault: passwords and tokens stay in one store, not in each client's files
- Audit log: a record of every action taken by agents, with its cost
- Single credit balance: one balance for 50+ integrated services that would otherwise need separate subscriptions
How Does Aident Loadout Work?
You create an account, connect the apps you need (for example Gmail, GitHub or a CRM) and install Loadout in your preferred assistant through MCP or the command line. From then on the assistant sees the selected tools and Skills and can use them in conversations or coding tasks, without repeating the setup for each client.
The distinctive part is control: credentials are not copied into individual assistants and every operation lands in the audit log, so you can check what an agent did, when and what it cost. The usual risk of these tools remains: an agent with access to many apps can do damage if it receives the wrong instructions, so it is wise to connect only the accounts you really need.
Who is Aident Loadout for?
- Developers who use several AI coding assistants
- Power users who automate repetitive tasks with agents
- Small technical teams that want to share the same connections
- People experimenting with MCP servers and clients
- Companies that want a log of agent actions
Use Cases
- Letting Claude Code read GitHub issues and update a ticket when the work is done
- Using the same email and calendar connections in both Cursor and Codex
- Having an agent prepare a CRM summary without handing over the password
- Checking the audit log to see which actions an agent ran overnight
- Sharing a common set of apps and Skills across a team
Pricing
The Pay-as-you-go plan costs $0 per month: you only pay for usage through credit top-ups at full price. Pro costs $9.90 per month and includes $5 of credit every month, up to 5 accounts per app and 5% off top-ups. Team costs $59 per month with $30 of shared monthly credit; the Enterprise plan is priced on request.
Pros and Cons
Pros:
- One connection for every MCP-compatible assistant
- Centralized credentials and an action log
- Free to start, and Pro costs under $10 a month
Cons:
- Service and documentation in English only
- Outdated terms and privacy policy that don't match the current product
- Giving an agent access to many apps calls for care
Final Verdict
Aident Loadout is useful for anyone who uses more than one AI coding assistant and is tired of setting up every connection several times. The pay-as-you-go plan lets you try it without spending anything, and the Vault and audit log offer a level of control missing from hand-made setups. Start with a few apps and expand only after seeing how the agents behave.
